A: No, it is not a requirement. You can leave your FIDO awake for a very long period without feeding him and that will accomplish the task. But it does not hurt to bring your FIDO outdoors near fire hydrants and trees.
Q: Can FIDO's be cloned ?
A: No, the genetic design of these cute FIDOs prevents them from being cloned, so each will retain its unique identity even though they all look alike from the outside. But if you are a sheep and go with the other companies, their genetic design does not preclude cloning.
Q: How long does it take to toilet train my new FIDO ?
A: Just a few hours while you read the manual. During that time, it is recommended that you let your FIDO lay on a piece of newspaper just in case :-) This is especially true of the new 6190 FIDOs who are so cute and small and cuddley.

A: Microcell made a bit of genetic engineering. Instead of barking as expected, FIDO will sing portions of symphonies and operas. But you can teach FIDO new things to sing. Interestingly, FIDO's signing is bad enough that it scares away other dogs.
Q: Can FIDO Travel ?
A: Yes, FIDO can travel in North America. But he prefers going to large cities. You can bring FIDO with you on the plane, but you must put him to sleep during the flight. FIDO will not awaken if you bring it to Europe, so it is useless to bring him. But you can bring FIDO's brain and transplant it to a European dog.
