Why not break up the long flight to Africa with a few days stopover in Amsterdam, famous for its "Coffee Shops" and Red Light District, among other things.

We stayed at the Hotel Brouwer, about a 10 minute walk from Central Station.	The buildings in Amsterdam look a lot like gingerbread houses. Note the ladder being used to move furniture to the 2nd floor.	Night on one of the canals.
	Building adjacent to Dam Square.	Light rsil that runs on the roads.
Amsterdam has LOTS of bikes, usually very old one speeds.	Magic Mushroom store.	Red lights mean only one thing and you're allowed to see what is for sale, but no photos.
