This trip was taken in November 2007, starting in Bangkok, then Chiang Mai, and then to the Lao border. We then returned from Vientiane, Laos via train to Bangkok.

Yummy Jackfruit. The largest fruit in the world, growing up to 50 Kg!! Tastes sort of like a dry mango crossed with a peach. It is a member of the evil Durian fruit family (see the Malaysia page)
